Superior In The Kompas Research And Development Survey, PDIP Politician Invites Anies To Join Ganjar

JAKARTA - PDIP DPP Chairman Said Abdullah invited the presidential candidate (readpres) for the Change Coalition for Unity (KPP) Anies Baswedan to join Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election. According to him, both of them are smart leaders of the same alma mater.

This was said by Said in response to the results of the Kompas Research and Development survey, where in the simulation of head to head presidential candidates, Ganjar was far superior to Anies. Ganjar obtained 60.1 percent electability and Anies 39.9 percent in the August 2023 period.

Said assessed that Anies was not a competitor who could be underestimated. Because as a former governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies is included in the criteria for intelligent leadership candidates.

"For us, Anies Baswedan is not a competitor who should be underestimated. He and Ganjar are smart candidates for leader. Both are the same in one alma mater, the greatest campus in Indonesia, namely Gajah Mada University," Said told reporters, Monday, August 21.

Said then said that Anies could join Ganjar as a strength in the 2024 General Election. If the two join, according to him, the future national leadership will be even better.

"Especially if both of them can join forces, of course, it will be better for the future of our national leadership in the future, as well as young, intelligent, and energetic," he continued.

Even so, Said admitted that he did not want to be complacent about the results of the survey that put Ganjar in the top position. Moreover, Ganjar still loses slightly if he is head to head with Prabowo Subianto. Said said that the results of this survey will be an evaluation material for PDIP.

"Even though we are ahead with Mr. Anies, we don't feel happy. Especially if Ganjar has to head to head with Pak Prabowo, it's still narrowly lost. Of course this will be an evaluation material to improve the winning strategy for Ganjar Pranowo," said Said.
