NTB Dapil Legislator Dies, DPD Calls PAW Authority of DPP Gerindra

MATARAM - West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Gerindra Party Regional Representative Board (DPD) Chairman H Lalu Fathul Bahri said the interim replacement process (PAW) for members of the Republic of Indonesia DPR for the electoral area of ​​West Nusa Tenggara, Bambang Kristiono (HBK) who had died was a policy of the Gerindra Party Central Executive Board (DPP).

"The PAW process for the late HBK was determined by the Gerindra Party DPP," said Fathul after morning exercises at the Praya public square, quoted from Antara, Friday, August 18.

Based on the PAW process regulations, the one who will fill this position is of course the one with the second most votes, namely Wilgo, but the person concerned has already become a director of another company.

So that the third most votes will be filled, namely Buntaran, but he is already the chairman of another political party.

"This means that the majority of votes will replace the late HBK to become the House of Representatives (DPR RI). It depends on the decision of the DPP Gerindra," he said.

Previously, Haji Bambang Kristiono, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) legislator who also served as Chairman of the Executive Board of the Gerindra Party DPP Supervisory and Disciplinary Board, died in Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Thursday (20/7/2023).

H Bambang Kristiono SE born December 25, 1960, is an Indonesian politician who serves as a member of the DPR-RI for the 2019–2024 period. He represents the constituency of West Nusa Tenggara II, which includes West Lombok Regency, Central Lombok Regency, East Lombok Regency, North Lombok Regency, and the City of Mataram representing the Gerindra party.

He is also known as the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Supervisory and Disciplinary Board of the DPP Gerindra Party, and also the CEO of the Lombok FC football club, and the initiator of the HBK Peduli movement which is engaged in the humanitarian field.

We really respect HBK for his tireless dedication and struggle in developing Lombok Island, he said. He will always be remembered for his strong integrity, visionary thinking, and commitment in carrying out his duties. HBK has left a valuable legacy that will inspire future generations.
