Garut Police Reveals Drug Cases In Online Selling Mode

The Garut Police have uncovered a drug abuse case that utilizes expedition services. The perpetrators also tricked the police by selling drugs online or online.

"We are monitoring in collaboration with the expedition," said Garut Police Chief (Kapolres) AKBP Rohman Yonky Dilatha during a press conference on the disclosure of drug trafficking and abuse cases in Garut, Tuesday, August 15, which was confiscated by Antara.

In addition, the Garut Police in the Antique Operation which was held recently succeeded in arresting 10 suspected dealers and users.

The evidence that was secured from the suspects were methamphetamine, synthetic tobacco, and hard drugs that were not free to sell.

The results of the operation, he said, they carried out transactions carried out online, then the delivery used expedition services to avoid police surveillance.

However, that method, said the Police Chief, could still be revealed by the Garut Police, and those arrested had undergone a legal process to account for their actions.

"These modes mostly catch dealers," said the Police Chief.

He conveyed that his staff are currently not only conducting surveillance on drug trafficking in the field or in the real world, but also deploying a cyber team to monitor the practice of online or digital sales.

According to him, so far there has also been circulation, such as types of hard drugs that have been sold online, this will be a concern for the police to take firm action.

"There are some hard drugs that are marketed online, for that we also monitor cyber, digitally, it will not be released if it is circulated," he said.

He emphasized that his staff together with BNN, TNI, and other related elements are trying to prevent drug trafficking in Garut.

The prevention effort, he said, was to save the nation's generation from the dangers of drugs, especially the residents of Garut Regency who were not victims of drugs.

"We have to save Garut so that Garut does not become a fertile place for users, crossings, especially by easily circulating in Garut," he said.
