Perpetrators Of Breaking Into Houses In Penajam Can Be Arrested By Police After Knowing Selling LPG Gas To Others

PENAJAM - A man who committed theft and burglary of an empty house was threatened with seven years in prison. The perpetrator with the initials ID (25) is a resident of Buluminung Village, Penajam District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Penajam Paser Police, Adjunct Commissioner of Police (AKP) Dian Kusnawan, said the victim ID was staying at Kilometer 12 of Buluminung Village, Penajam District. "The perpetrator was charged with Article 363 paragraph (1) (3) and (5) of the Criminal Code (KUHP), he added, with a maximum penalty of seven years in prison," he explained in Penajam, Antara, Sunday, August 13. ID action took place on Wednesday at around 22.30 WITA. The North Penajam Paser Police Crime and Violence Unit (Jatanras) immediately conducted an investigation after receiving a report from the owner of the house. Luckily, investigators found out that one of the stolen items in the form of three kilograms of LPG gas was about to be sold ID to someone else. Long story short, ID was arrested. "The perpetrator was arrested on Thursday, August 10 in the vicinity of his house," he said. Personnel confiscated evidence of a two-wheeled motorized vehicle, a three-kilogram LPG cylinder and three cell phones or cell phones stolen by the perpetrator from the victim's house. Other confiscated evidence was in the form of a crowbar and a wooden block suspected of being a tool to break into a house. The Penajam Paser Utara Police Criminal Investigation Unit also immediately carried out a case of theft and burglary of the empty house left by the owner.

Furthermore, based on the information of the victim and the perpetrator along with the confiscated evidence, it concluded that ID was named a suspect.
