Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo invited all Indonesians to come to Central Java this August. Because on August 11-24, 2023, there will be many discounts at the Central Java Great Sale 2023 event.

This was conveyed by Ganjar when opening Central Java Great Sale 78 at The Park Mall Semarang, Friday 11 August. Present at the event were the Chairman of the Central Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Harry Noryanro Sudiro and a number of other invited guests.

"Come on to Central Java, because there will be a lot of discounts given. There will be discounts at malls, restaurants, hotels, retailers and MSME products in Central Java," said Ganjar.

The Central Java Great Sale event, Ganjar continued, is a way for people to come to Central Java. With an attractive discount given, people will shop so that the economy can grow.

"This is an opportunity for our MSMEs to roll out the economy. So I ask Regency/City to be actively involved by preparing superior MSMEs," he explained.

This event continued Ganjar as also a way to increase economic growth in Central Java. In the second quarter of 2024, Central Java recorded economic growth of 5.32 percent and above the national level of only 5.17 percent.

"Our economic growth is good, although it does not jump, but along with national growth, we are slightly higher. And we take care of this with many events like this," he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Central Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Harry Nuryanto Soediro, said Central Java Great Sale 78 was held thanks to the collaboration between the Central Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry and related institutions such as PHRI, HIPPINDO, APPBI and Central Java APRINDO. There will be many discounts, discounts and promotion programs in the event.
