The Perpetrator Who Installed The Red And White Flag On The Neck Of The Dog Was Examined By The Police

BENGKALIS - The Pinggir Sector Police, Bengkalis, Riau examined the Deputy Head of Administration of PT Sawit Agung Sejahtera (SAS) Muara Basung, Robert Herry Son, who went viral due to his abuse of state symbols by placing a red and white flag on the dog's neck.

"After being interrogated, the perpetrator admitted the mistake because of his ignorance and had no intention of insulting the symbol of the state, and was willing to apologize," said Bengkalis Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Firman Fadhilahro, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 10.

The incident occurred on Wednesday (8/8) when the perpetrator bought four small red and white flags. Initially to be installed on the perpetrator's vehicle in order to enliven the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

After arriving at the factory, only one flag can be paired on the motorbike and the rest is not paired.

Then when outside the perpetrators saw the company's dog which used to be in the office and also used to play with the perpetrators.

"Then the perpetrator put the rest of the flag on the dog's neck necklace with the excuse of enlivening Indonesia's independence day," said Kasat.

Furthermore, on Thursday (10/8) at around 11.00 WIB, one of the PT employees saw a flag attached to the dog's neck and asked who installed it. The perpetrator admitted to putting the flag on, but when asked to open the flag attached to the dog's neck, he didn't want to and just answer so.

"Let it be okay to enliven August 17," said the perpetrator.

Then there was a debate until the video spread. Bhabinkamtibmas Semunai Village immediately went to PT SAS' Palm Oil Factory and found that the community was already busy. To avoid unwanted things, the perpetrator was then secured to the Pinggir Police for questioning.

"Currently, the perpetrator is still in the process of being investigated at the Pinggir Police," said Kasat.

Meanwhile, Robert Herry Son apologized to the people who were hurt by his actions of putting the flag on the dog's neck. He said he did not intend to insult and harass the red and white and do this only spontaneously and raise enthusiasm to commemorate Indonesian Independence Day.

"I apologize and realize that this act is inappropriate and willing to accept the consequence for this incident, I do not mean to harass the symbol of the state by putting the flag on the dog's neck," he said with a regret.
