Submit Evidence To Polda Metro, Attorney Says Victim Of Harassment In Beauty Context Reaches 30 People

JAKARTA - The attorney for victims of abuse at the beauty pageant, Melisa Anggraini, revealed that there were 30 participants who were victims of harassment at the annual event. "Actually, there are 30 people who have experienced it. But only 7 people have given power of attorney. But the time is running out," he said when he visited the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the Polda Metro Jaya as reported by Antara, Wednesday, August 9. Mellisa conveyed that she came to Polda Metro Jaya for further questioning about the chronology in the case. "Of course I convey what the victims said, what they experienced," he said. He also conveyed his impact on the victims. "Then how will it impact them, why did they finally decide to report this. Including the chronology of the big picture, it will be explored again," he said. Mellisa brought additional evidence to the police but she has not been able to describe the new evidence. Polda Metro Jaya immediately asked for information from victims of alleged sexual harassment in the form of nude photos when checking the body checking in the beauty pageant. "What is certain is that we will first summon the victim, we will ask for information in the near future," said the Daily Executive (Plh) Head of the Sub-Directorate (Kasubdit) of Youth, Children and Women (Renakta) of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Yuliansyah when confirmed in Jakarta yesterday. Yuliansyah explained that the victim's summons was to find out the story of their version when the incident occurred.

However, Yuliansyah has not explained the time to summon the victim because he must coordinate with the victim's attorney. "We want to coordinate this with the complainant's attorney, when will they be ready to come," he said.
