Police Successfully Revealed The Jakarta Lampung Curanmor Network, Five Suspects Arrested When Sending Stolen Motorcycles

The Tambora Police managed to thwart the shipment of 5 stolen motorbikes to be sent to the Lampung area. Although the perpetrators covered the motorbike with a foam mattress to trick the police, the officers managed to smell the perpetrator's actions.

West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes M Syahduddi said that in this case there were 10 criminal syndicate networks. Of the 10 perpetrators, 5 perpetrators were arrested by the Tambora Police.

"There are 10 main suspects in this group, five suspects have been arrested by the Tambora Police, two suspects have been arrested by the Lampung Police Ditkrimum, and three suspects who act as controllers are still DPOs," said Kombes Syahduddi to reporters, Monday, August 7.

Meanwhile, the five suspects arrested had the initials EP (33), MA (28), MSA (19), JPP (29) and IP (19). The three main suspects acted as collectors, while the other two acted as transporters or motorbike senders.

"The collectors of the Lampung network include EP (33), MA (28), MAA (19). The suspects act as transporters two, namely JPP (29), and IP (19)," he said.

Meanwhile, Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama said the suspect was arrested on Saturday, August 5. The arrests of the perpetrators were made of information from residents and then followed up by the Tambora Police.

After checking, it was found that there was a car loaded with mattress which contained two stolen motorbikes which were planned to be sent to Lampung.

"On Saturday, August 5 at around 01.30 WIB, the car began to leave the vehicle loading location and was immediately followed by members of the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit," said Kompol Putra.

Then after 30 minutes of being followed, the stolen motorbike was raided by the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit on Jalan Puri Jaya, Sukamantri Village, Pasar Kemis District, Tangerang Regency.

"When he was dismissed from processing the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit, the contents in the tub of the car were visible, only carrying a foam mattress that was arranged very neatly and the top was covered with an orange tarpaulin. However, if checked more carefully, it can be seen that there are two motorbikes in the tub," he explained.

In addition, the police carried out developments and managed to find another motorbike. A total of three other stolen motorbikes were found in foam mattress shops.

"In total, there were 5 stolen motorbikes and 5 suspects were taken to the Tambora Police. The Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately carried out developments to the initial location where the motorbike was stored, namely in a three-story shop located inside Puri Jaya Housing, Sukamantri Village, Pasar Kemis District, Tangerang Regency, Banten. This shop is a shop selling foam mattresses," he said.

From the shop sale of foam mattresses, the police managed to arrest three other perpetrators along with three motorbikes. Furthermore, five suspects along with evidence of one pick-up car or stall and five motorbikes were taken to the Tambora Police.
