JAKARTA - The attorney for PT Bali Towerindo Sentra, Maqdir Ismail, opened his voice regarding the case of a student named Sultan Rif'at Alfatih (20) who was caught in an optical fiber cable belonging to his client.
Maqdir admitted that Bali Tower did not initially know that the Sultan was caught in an optical fiber cable at the time of the incident. He said he only found out that there was a problem with cable damage on January 6.
At that time, a network customer served by Bali Tower complained that his internet service was dead, so the company immediately checked the location and repaired the cable.
"Repairs on Thursday January 6 by Bali Tower because there is information that the internet is off and the relevant parties around internet users cannot be interneted, then it will be repaired immediately," said Maqdir at a press conference in the Central Jakarta area, Thursday, August 3.

The victim, who was unconscious, was immediately taken by his friends and a number of road users to the Fatmawati Central General Hospital (RSUP), to get first aid.
"(The doctor) sentenced my son that his throat or young bones in his throat broke and fell apart from what was called the offline or like the jakun was released," explained Fatih.
"Even couldn't speak for almost seven months as a result of the incident," he said.
