Preparations For The ASEAN Summit, Damaged Bicycle Path Stick Cone In Jakarta Will Be Replaced Newly

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Transportation Agency (Sudinhub) will replace the broken bicycle lane stick cone with a new stick cone ahead of the ASEAN 2023 Summit (KTT) in Jakarta. "I have already told the Provincial Transportation Agency (DKI Jakarta) ahead of the ASEAN Summit that we cannot allow (stick cone to be damaged) so that the beauty of the city is maintained and established by Indonesia," said Head of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Wildan Anwar when confirmed by VOI, Monday, July 31. In addition to replacing the bicycle lane stick cone, the Central Jakarta Sub-dept. also carried out stick cone cleaning in a number of roads in 8 areas throughout Central Jakarta. "Our Stick cone will be cleaned up, which will be damaged later. The process of changing the stick cone will be carried out within the next 1 month. In Senen sub-district there will be 4 points (stick cone damaged)," he said.

The process of cleaning the stick cone for bicycle lanes is carried out so that the bicycle lanes, which in particular cross the protocol road in Jakarta, look brilliant and beautiful. "We will immediately tidy up. The Provincial Transportation Agency will replace the damaged ones, then we will clean the dirty cone with soap," he said. Previously, the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono said that his party would tidy up and beautify the routes that state guests would pass in holding the ASEAN 2023 Summit.
