Kejari Searches 2 Subsidiaries Of PT Telkom In Cengkareng Investigate Allegations Of Corruption In Procurement Of Goods

The West Jakarta District Attorney (Kejari) searched two state-owned subsidiaries of PT Telkom in Cengkareng related to the investigation into alleged corruption in the procurement of goods and services.

Head of the West Jakarta Prosecutor's Office, Iwan Ginting, said the search was carried out at PT Quartee Technologies and PT Haka Luxury Indonesia regarding allegations of corruption which was estimated to have cost the state Rp200 billion.

"The implementation of the activity is based on the Investigation Order of the Head of the West Jakarta District Attorney Number: Print-3615/M.1.12/Fd.1/06/2023 dated June 19, 2023," said Head of the West Jakarta Kejari, Iwan Ginting in Jakarta, Friday, July 28, confiscated by Antara.

During the search, Iwan secured several related documents that will be used in the investigation.

"The Investigative Team from the Special Crimes at the West Jakarta District Attorney managed to confiscate and obtain 51 bundles of related documents needed in the investigation process," he said.

The search, he continued, was also witnessed by the lurah, the village head secretary and the head of the local RT.

"The activity ended at 16.30 WIB in an orderly, safe manner and was marked by the signing of the minutes of confiscation of a number of documents that were obtained," he said.
