Police Analysis Of CCTV In The Case Of The Death Of Densus 88 Members

JAKARTA - Member of Densus 88 Anti-terror, Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage, died as a result of being shot by his colleague. The National Police stated that an in-depth investigation and search for evidence was being carried out to uncover the real facts behind the incident.

"Currently, Bogor Police investigators as well as Regional Police Headquarters are investigating, developing and analyzing, including analyzing, collecting evidence," said Karo Penmas, National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Thursday, July 27.

One piece of evidence that has been obtained is CCTV footage at the National Police Flats, Bogor. However, the team handling the case is said to be still analyzing it.

"Including CCTV analysis at the location or crime scene," said Ramadhan.

Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage died, allegedly shot by his colleague. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 23.

Karo Penmas, National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, said that Bripda IMS and Bripka IG had been arrested. Currently, the case is being investigated by Propam Polda and the Criminal Investigation Unit.

"Currently, the case is being handled by a joint team of Propam and Criminal Investigation to find out violations of discipline, code of ethics and crimes committed by the perpetrator," he said.

On the other hand, Ramadhan emphasized that the National Police will take action against all its members who are proven guilty in accordance with applicable regulations. So, a sense of justice will be felt by all Indonesian citizens.

"What is certain is that the National Police will not tolerate individuals who violate applicable regulations or laws," said Ramadhan.
