KPK Reveals Plans To Create A Corruption Prevention Program With Menpora Dito

JAKARTA - Deputy for Prevention and Execution of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Pahala Nainggolan said he would create an anti-corruption program with the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Mahendra. The two talks will be held on Tuesday, July 25.

"He invited the KPK to make a prevention program there (Kemenpora, ed). Tomorrow maybe at 08.00 am I will go there to discuss what the ministry wants to do," Pahala told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, Monday, July 24.

Pahala said that his party had actually suggested building a system. Thus, the gap in corruption can be closed.

"For example, how many proposals from PSSI, from this (ducting for other sports, ed) how many have been approved. It's just using the system, it's open," he said.

However, further discussions will only be delivered in the discussion tomorrow. "This ministry is a bit unique, it contains sports," said Pahala.

Furthermore, Pahala said this invitation was conveyed by Dito by telephone. He said, he did call the Golkar Party politician to ask about the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN) submitted.

The reason was that the KPK was shocked when he heard that Dito said that the assets came from a prize of Rp. 162 billion.

"At the age of the KPK database, which is the most famous gift, yes. Apparently, he was invited by no one who knows that this has his own business column, grants, apparently it is advocated that the grant must use a deed," said Pahala.

"Finally it was concluded and he agreed that he would revise his LHKPN so that from the award category he wanted to replace a grant without a deed. Because I explained, the prize was a connotation of gratification," he concluded.
