Ask Residents Of Kampung Bayam Sudi To Move To Nagrak Flats, DKI Provincial Government: Many Public Residents Queue

Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Area (DPRKP) Retno Sulistyaningrum hopes that the residents of Kampung Bayam are interested in moving and inhabiting the Nagrak Flats in Cilincing, North Jakarta.

Currently, some residents affected by the eviction of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) are still holding up to set up tents near Kampung Susun Bayam and have not been able to stay in the residence because they have not agreed with PT Jakarta Propertindo as the manager regarding rental fees.

"The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government really hopes that residents can accept the Nagrak Flats. This is our effort in providing this habitable flat. The provision is really good, you know, providing decent housing," Retno told reporters, Monday, July 17.

According to Retno, Rusunawa Nagrak is a rental residence owned by the DKI Provincial Government which is quite suitable to live in. Various facilities have been provided by the DKI Provincial Government in the residence which was once the isolation location for COVID-19 patients.

"Many people are queuing up. These are residents that we have facilitated properly, they should receive them. Moreover, maybe these residents have also received spiritual (money) from Jakpro's friends," he explained.

Some residents of Kampung Bayam are still living in the tent they built near Kampung Susun Bayam.

Kampung Susun Bayam has been established, but they still cannot occupy it because they have not agreed with the rental price set by PT Jakarta Propertindo as the manager BUMD.

Jakpro is determined to set a tariff of around Rp600 thousand to Rp700 thousand per month. In contrast to the demands of the residents of Kampung Bayam who demand a rental fee of only Rp150 thousand per month.

Referring to the Regulation of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province Number 55 of 2018 concerning Adjustment of Housing Service Retribution Tariffs, the rates offered by Jakpro refer to the general category rental fee. Meanwhile, residents demanded that Kampung Susun Bayam be included in the programmed category.
