Motorcycle Gang Members Who Threaten Residents With Firearms Arrested

SUKABUMI - The police arrested a member of a motorcycle gang suspected of being a colleague of the perpetrator of threats using firearms against residents of Nambo Village, Cisolok District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.

"After threatening residents in the village on Sunday at around 18.30 WIB, we immediately investigated and arrested four fellow perpetrators at a nightclub at the Pajagan Fish Auction Site (TPI), Cisolok District, on Sunday at around 23.30 WIB," said Cisolok Police Chief AKP Aguk Khusaeni, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 10.

According to Aguk, one of the three motorcycle gang colleagues who threatened it, with the initials I was involved in the action because from the results of the investigation and video shows of suspect I participating in the group.

From the results of the investigation, the police named I as a suspect. Meanwhile, three of his colleagues were released because they were not involved in threatening the residents of Nambo Village, Al-Furqon Mosque.

Although three of I's colleagues were not involved in the action, they are still one group of motorcycle gangs and are required to make a statement on stamp duty not to cause trouble and not to commit other crimes that disturb the public.

"The Cisolok Police together with the Sukabumi Police Satreskrim continue to develop this case to hunt down and arrest other perpetrators and reveal the motive behind threatening residents," he said.

Aguk said that for the sake of further development and examination, suspect I was temporarily detained in the Sukabumi Police Headquarters prison cell. It is hoped that other perpetrators can be caught soon.

It was previously reported that a motorized gang using five motorbikes had made residents of Nambo Village uneasy, Al-Furqon Mosque, Cisolok Village/District on Sunday, 9/7). Their arrival was to find another motorcycle group, namely Furqon.

Worse, some of the members of the motorized gang had threatened a resident, namely Nining, who is the mother of Sigit, by using, allegedly a firearm.
