Ministry Of Health Asks People To Be Alert To 4 Types Of Antraks In Humans

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has asked all levels of society to be aware of four types of anti-extraction that can be transmitted to humans through wounds on the body or vegetable-eating animals (herbivores).

"Antraks is a disease caused by the Bacillus Anthracis bacteria. So, there are four types of anti-extraction (which need to be watched out for) especially skin boosts (cutaneous)," said the Director of Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases at the Ministry of Health, Imran Pambudi, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 10.

Imran explained that the first type of anti-exact bacteria is skin antrax. When a spora of this type enters the skin, it usually goes through an incision or abrasion. This type is the cause of the most cases in Indonesia.

The second type is an antix of the lungs or breathing. When antractic spora is sucked in through the respiratory particles and reaches the walls of the alveoli, the infected person will feel a sensation of seeping in his lungs.

The danger is an antix of breathing and it can be calculated maybe in a day, two days because the damage can be fast and if it enters the lungs it can go directly into the brain too," he said.

The third type is antagraces in the digestive tract. Bacteria enter through the digestive tract when a sufferer eats meat from an infected animal and is not cooked properly. As a result, a spora that can stick for decades enters the body.

"Those are symptoms of blood anus, blood vomiting, then there is a gland swelling at the groin. It indicates that there is an infection, then if it is severe, the intestines leak, then bleeding and the stomach becomes bloating," he said.

While the last type is injection anti-extraction, this new type resembles skin antrax, but is usually found in narcotics users.

With the discovery of the case in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta Special Region, some time ago, Imran asked the public to understand that attractors generally attack herbivore animals such as cows, goats, and sheep and can be transmitted to humans.

"If bacteria come into contact with free air, it will form a sporam that is very resistant to certain environmental conditions or chemicals. In addition, antracks can last for decades in the ground," he said.

With its hard to destroy power, Imran is worried that random people eating or making close contact with animals infected with anti-extraction can expand the transmission of the outbreak.

Learning from the experience of the United States when facing an imaging about 10 years ago, Imran is worried that antrax spora will be used as a biological weapon (bio weapon) by irresponsible persons to spread it or simply use it as a joke without knowing the fatal cause.
