Investigate The Case Of The Rihana And Rihani Twins, IPW Asks Police To Involve Densus 88

JAKARTA - Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) hopes that Polda Metro Jaya will involve the Special Datasement 88 Anti-terror Team of the National Police to arrest the 'twins' Riana and Rihani. The goal is to speed up the arrest of the suspect.

"The involvement of Densus 88 is needed to speed up the arrest of Rinahan and Rihani, as well as to show the seriousness of the police in handling cases that have gone viral on social media," said IPW Chairman Sugeng Teguh Santoso in his statement, Sunday, July 2.

Sugeng also accused the two suspects of not being cooperative with law enforcement. In fact, they have disappeared from the police summons, therefore, the police are hunting for and issuing the status of the wanted list (DPO) for the suspects.

"The community, especially the victims of fraud and cunning of the twins, are eagerly awaiting a fair and professional law enforcement process from the police," he said.

On his occasion, Sugeng also assessed that the fraud cases of Rinahan and Rihani had harmed a number of victims. There are even some victims whose resellers have also been reported to the police and made suspects. One of them, Pungky Marsyaviani is currently detained and is currently undergoing trial at the Tangerang District Court.

The Pungky report was reported to have committed fraud and embezzlement by Siti Fatiha Rayta at the East Ciputat Police Station through police report number: LP/875/B/IX/2022/Res Tangsel/East Sekcip dated September 3, 2022. In fact, Pungky as a victim had reported Rihani first at the South Tangerang Police on June 10, 2022 with police report number: TBL/B/1008/VI/2022/SPKT/TANGERANG SELATAN POLICE/POLDA METRO JAYA due to a loss of IDR 5.7 billion.

In addition, another victim from Rinahan and Rihani who are currently being reported as fraud and embezzlement is Vicky Fachreza, who is none other than Pungky's husband.

Vicky was reported by David Vincent Anggara H a year ago, with police report number: LP/B/1358/VI/2022/SPKT/Polres Metro South Jakarta/Polda Metro Jaya dated June 10, 2022.

The South Jakarta Metro Police through their Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Irwandhy Idrus, summoned Vicky on Monday, July 3, 2023 through letter number: B/7539/VI/2023/Reskrim to come to fulfill the invitation to clarify the 2nd case. This summons complements the letter numbered: B/3438/III/2023/Reskrim dated March 27, 2023.

Therefore, Sugeng hopes that the police reports that ensnared the PO Iphone reseller will be suspended first by waiting for the twins to be caught. Then, the process went to the Metro Police which had withdrawn all reports from the police of fraud and embezzlement by Riana-Rihani from the South Tangerang Police and the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"Because, with the arrest of the Rihana-Rihani twins, the PO Iphone case became open and the flow of funds suspected of causing losses to the reseller worth Rp. 35 billion could be resolved.
