Police Investigate Mystery Of Boy's Death In Lotim With Bruises And Drying Blood On The Face

The East Lombok Resort Police (Lotim), West Nusa Tenggara, is collaborating with the National Police Medical and Health Center to investigate the cause of death of an 8-year-old girl with bruises on her mouth and bleeding blood on her face.

"The goal is to check whether there are DNA of other people attached to the victim's body," said East Lombok Police Chief AKBP Hery Indra Cahyono as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 27.

In addition to getting support from the National Police Health Center, the East Lombok Police also collaborated with the Bali Regional Police Forensic Laboratory Team.

"Essentially, we are still waiting for the results from the laboratory and pusdokkes. So, this case is still under investigation regarding what caused the victim's death," he said.

If from the results of the laboratory and pusdokkes there is evidence of a criminal act involving the role of others, his party will conduct an in-depth investigation.

"Whoever he (the perpetrator) is, we will pursue until we get it," he said.

The East Lombok Police had previously carried out a series of stages of investigation, starting from the process of evacuating the body of a boy with the initials RNA who was found in a prone position tilted to the right in the back field of a resident's house about 200 meters from the victim's house. RNA's body was found on Wednesday (24/5) afternoon by residents.

After the evacuation by the Inafis team, the TKP processing continued and a meeting with the victim's family. There was also a request for information from a number of witnesses, including the victim's family and the hamlet head.

There were allegations that the victim died unnaturally so that the police had evacuated RNA's body to the Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital for the post-mortem process.

Regarding the results of the examination, Hery added that his party had not yet received an official report from the hospital.
