Bandar Lampung Forces Massage Parlors And Karaoke Places To Close For 3 Days Of Eid Al-Adha Holiday 2023

Bandar Lampung Mayor Eva Dwiana has issued a temporary closure policy for nightclubs, massage parlors to karaoke during Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijri or 2023 AD.

The regulation is contained in Circular (SE) number 4351 / 1106 /III.20 / 2023 concerning the temporary closure of entertainment tourist attractions during Eid al-Adha 1444 H.

"This temporary closure appeal will only take place from D-1 to D+1 Eid al-Adha or from June 28 to 30," said Secretary of the Bandarlampung Tourism Office, Dirmansyah, in Bandarlampung, Monday, June 26.

In addition to the mentioned places, discotheques, pubs, bars, gyms and sodok soccer houses are also prohibited from opening during the three Eid al-Adha 2023 holidays in Bandar Lampung.

"Including businesses located in the hotel environment, which smells of night entertainment," he said.

He explained that the basis for the circular was Bandarlampung city regulation Number 03 of 2017 concerning tourism.

"So what is asked to close is a place or night entertainment tour, not a family tourist location such as the Green Valley or others," he said.

He also said that the circular had been given to all business actors of nightclubs in this city, and the Bandarlampung City Government would monitor its implementation in the field.

"We will carry out surveillance in three days, from D-1 to D+1 Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijri. If there is a violation of the provisions as stated in regional regulations Number 03 of 2017, they will be subject to sanctions," he said.
