Vocational High School Student Slashing Residents In Fortkidul Sukabumi Arrested

Thanks to the help of residents of Bentengkidul Village, Sukabumi City, West Java, the perpetrators of the attack on residents in the village were arrested by the police after carrying out an attack and slashing a young resident.

"The suspect with the initials AG (17) is a resident of Sekarwangi Village, Cibadak District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, was arrested by residents after carrying out attacks and slashing local youths," said Warudoyong Police Chief AKP Iman Retno, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, June 26.

The arrest of a class XI vocational school student in Cisaat District began when the suspect and several of his colleagues carried out a convoy on a motorbike on Sunday at around 00.30 WIB.

When he entered Jalan Bentengkidul, the suspect and his partner saw a group of youths gathered at the patrol post.

As if he was a champion of AG and several of his colleagues immediately got off their motorbikes and took the sickle out of their clothes and then attacked randomly the young man at the patrol post.

Allegedly, the suspect thought the local youth would not fight back.

It turned out that after slashing one of the youths with the initials FS (20), the victim's colleague then fought back and chased the motorized thug towards Lapang Bola Suryakencana.

The suspect who was about to escape did not succeed in riding a motorcycle. He was abandoned by his colleagues and finally caught by local residents and youths.

Annoyed by AG's actions that disturbed comfort and security, the suspect had become the target of the residents, fortunately the local elders managed to reduce the emotions of their citizens.

Not long after, police personnel arrived at the location and took this teenager to the Warudoyong Police Headquarters for questioning.

"The suspect is still being questioned for further investigation and personnel from the Warudoyong Police Criminal Investigation Unit have been deployed to arrest the perpetrators of the attack on residents in Bentengkidul Village," he said.
