JAKARTA - Two brawlers with the initials RK and EL were named suspects by the Sawah Besar Police. Both of them carried out a brawl on Jalan Kartini XVIII, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta, some time ago.

"Previously we arrested 6 teenagers, but after further investigation we determined RK and EL as suspects in the brawl," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sawah Besar Police AKP Sholeh, Thursday, June 22.

AKP Sholeh said the two suspects with the initials RK and EL were named as suspects because they were found to have a sharp weapon of the type of sickle. Two cigars were secured with a length of 100 centimeters (cm).

"We have also had a urine test and the results are negative for drugs," he said.

AKP Sholeh explained that the four teenagers who were also arrested had been returned to their homes by making a statement. The statement was witnessed by the RT, RW, religious leaders and other parties.

"We have sent them home and they are not proven to have brought a knife. Actually, the 6 we just wanted to fight but we managed to prevent them," he said.

Furthermore, AKP Sholeh said that the two suspects and four teenagers who had been sent home had all dropped out of school.

Teenagers and residents in the Central Jakarta area are back. Brawls broke out in the Sawah Besar and Menteng areas, Central Jakarta.
