Call AHY As His Sister After Meeting, Puan: There's A Lot To Say

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Puan Maharani mentioned many things that were discussed in her meeting with the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), today, Sunday, June 18. The two even forgot the time. This was conveyed by Puan after a closed meeting at Plataran, Senayan, Central Jakarta. He said, this conversation was held in a relaxed manner with breakfast. "If you don't remember when I wanted to keep talking. It turns out that there are so many things that can be said, like brothers and sisters. Earlier, Mr. AHY said,'mus, can I, I think you are like an older brother?', 'yes, yes, yes'," said Puan in a press conference after the meeting. Puan did not specify the contents of the meeting. However, he ensured that the discussion discussed how to build the nation was not just practical politics. "So this may be the first meeting but God willing, this will not be the last meeting," he said. "To be able to achieve that similarity, yes, of course we need time to meet often, so that we can talk about the things we really want," continued the chairman of the DPR RI. Meanwhile, AHY said his meeting with Puan was like a political oase. He said, the two parties have something in common, namely that they have both been the opposition and the ruling party so that this meeting is expected to bring good things. "Our friendship, Mbak Puan Maharani, who has also been in good relations with our family, is hopefully also a good form," said AHY.

"That we can find a solution for everything, it can be discussed. And although, once again, it is not always certain in the same position and attitude, God willing, for the nation and state, reconciliation politics like this is very much needed and awaited by the people of Indonesia," he concluded.
