Mario Dandy-Shane Lukas' Trial Continues Next Week, AG Will Be A Witness

JAKARTA - The public prosecutor (JPU) will present six witnesses at the follow-up trial of the David Ozora persecution case with the defendants Mario Dandy Satriyo and Shane Lukas. One of the witnesses, namely AG.

"We ask for permission from Yang Mulai, which we discussed earlier, which will be presented next week, one of which is Agnes, then Amanda, Rafael Benitez, Kriswanda, Albertus Fernando, Abdaned," said the prosecutor at the trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, June 15.

Hearing the witnesses who will be presented, Chief Judge Alimin Ribut Sujono asked the prosecutor to pay more attention to AG. Because, he is a minor.

So, the prosecutor was asked to provide a companion when AG was presented as a witness.

"It should also be noted to witness AG's child. So you pay attention to maybe there must be a companion, either his parents or anyone to accompany him. So as not to go back and forth," said Chief Judge Alimim.

Meanwhile, the next trial will be held on Tuesday, June 20. The trial with the agenda of examining witnesses is planned to start at 10.00 WIB.

In this case, Mario Dandy was charged with committing severe abuse. He was charged with Article 355 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code Subsidiary 353 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code or to 2 Article 76 C junto Article 50 paragraph 2 of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection junto Article 55 Paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Shane Lukas is suspected of being a subsidiary to Article 355 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code Junto Article 55 Paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code and subsidiary to Article 355 paragraph 2 junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the second Criminal Code with Article 355 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code junto 56 to 2 of the Criminal Code.
