Sandiaga Uno Visits PPP DPP

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno visited the DPP office of the United Development Party (PPP), Central Jakarta.

Sandiaga arrived at around 16.10 WIB. He was seen alone while descending his private car.

Sandiaga's arrival was then welcomed by the PPP DPP ranks accompanied by the Sirih Riau Sekapur Dance. The PPP DPP cadres who welcomed him were the Deputy Chairperson of the PPP DPP Amir Uskara, the Secretary General of the PPP DPP Arwani Thomafi, the Chairperson of the PPP DPP Achmad Baidowi and others.

They then shook hands with each other, then entered the PPP DPP office to hold a meeting on the 3rd floor.

"Bismillah," said Sandiaga in response to his readiness to join as a PPP cadre reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 14.

Previously, PPP DPP Chairman Achmad Baidowi said Sandiaga Uno would officially join the United Development Party (PPP) on Wednesday afternoon.

"The plan for the inauguration of Mr. Sandiaga Uno will be carried out at the PPP DPP at 15.00 WIB which will be led directly by the Acting Chairperson of the PPP DPP Muhammad Mardiono," said Awiek, his nickname.

The inauguration will be marked by the submission of the PPP Membership Card (KTA) from the Acting Chairperson of PPP to Sandiaga at the PPP DPP office, Jakarta, Wednesday, at 15.00 WIB.

According to him, this is a strategic step for PPP in dealing with the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

"Mr. Sandiaga Uno's entry is a strategic step for PPP to face the 2024 General Election," he added.
