JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has again imposed a manual ticket aimed at providing education to the public, this decision is aimed at not increasing the ticketing. But actually providing education to the public," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Latif Usman quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, June 10.Lative said, with the manual ticketing carried out by officers in the field, the public should be more careful and obey the regulations on the highway. "That now all roads already have officers. What is certain is that if you see violations will definitely be taken, action will be taken," he added, "Latif also explained, the action does not have to be connotated with a ticket, but there is a stage. All police activities that are reminded of that violators are an action. "This needs to be understood so that the public should not be afraid of police, instead the police will help their colleagues. So we took this action not to make it difficult for road users, but to remind them to maintain their safety," he said. Even though manual ticketing was re-imposed, Latif added, his party continued to develop both static and mobile electronic ticketing systems in Jakarta. "This (manual) is to keep it balanced only. But what we will continue to develop is the mobile ETLE and the static ETLE in Jakarta," he said.

The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has again imposed a manual ticket on the spot for areas that have not been covered or affordable in the ETLE system.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General of Police Sandi Nugroho in his statement in Jakarta, Monday, May 15, said that this policy was in accordance with the direction of the National Police Chief, General Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to the Regional Police (Polda).
