Director of Operations of PT Lintas Marga Sedaya (PT LMS), Agung Prasetyo, said that currently, fire bursts in the rest area of KM 86 of the Cipali Toll Road towards Jakarta are still happening.
"We are still looking for the right solution for the process of extinguishing the fireflow in the rest area of KM 86. This effort was carried out by conducting joint studies with parties such as ESDM, KemenPUPR and experts," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 26.
For tenants who are in the rest area, he said, the Cipali Toll road manager provides compensation in the form of an extension of the rental time which will be adjusted to the duration of handling the fire burst incident.
He conveyed that the compensation was given as a form of PT Lintas Marga Sedaya's concern as the manager of the KM 86 rest area.
The compensation was given because since the fire bursts, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, until now the rest area has been closed.
"We also express our gratitude for the generosity and positive attitude of the tenants for the natural events that occurred at the KM 86 rest area of the Cipali Toll Road," he said.
According to him, by understanding the occurrence of the fire as a natural phenomenon that occurs, his party as the rest area manager will continue to make maximum efforts so that tenants can operate and carry out their activities as usual.
