Teacher Of The Suspect Of Obscenity Of Dozens Of Students In North Aceh Delegated To The Prosecutor's Office

BANDA ACEH - Investigators of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the North Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit have transferred cases of alleged sexual abuse by teachers against dozens of elementary school students in North Aceh to the Kejari.

Head of Public Relations Iptu Bambang said the case file for the sexual abuse of the teacher had been transferred to the North Aceh District Attorney's Office and was waiting for further legal proceedings.

"In the results of the investigation, the number of victims of the elementary school teacher with the initials M (43) is 21 students with an age range ranging from 7-12 years. The file is P21 or declared complete," said Bambang as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 19.

Previously, the North Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested suspect M in (29/3) regarding the alleged molestation of the victims which was carried out from 2021 to March 2023.

The disgraceful act was carried out by the perpetrator during the teaching and learning process.

This case was revealed when the victim told her parents about the incident. The victim's parents objected, and reported the incident to the North Aceh Police.

In the legal process, the perpetrator was charged with Article 50 in conjunction with Article 47 of Qanun Number 6 of 2014 concerning Jinayat Law with a sentence of up to 200 months in prison.
