JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin left for Untung Island, Java, Thousand Islands, Monday, to inaugurate Kampung Bahari Nusantara fostered by the Indonesian Navy.

The Vice President will simultaneously inaugurate 68 Kampung Bahari Nusantara Programs in the Indonesian Navy Command unit throughout Indonesia from Untung Island, Java.

Reported by ANTARA, Monday, April 15, the Vice President will also have a video conference with representatives of the Kampung Bahari Nusantara Program in various regions.

The Vice President and a limited entourage departed from the Military Cross-Navy Command Pier (Kolinlamil), North Jakarta, Monday morning, by boarding the Yudhistira Naval Ship and were scheduled to arrive on Untung Jawa Island at 10.00 WIB.

For information, Kampung Bahari Nusantara is a TNI AL program to improve the welfare of the community in the fields of health, education, tourism, economy and defense.

This inauguration activity raised the theme "Bahari Nusantara Village, Indonesian Navy Ready to Support Inclusive And Sustainable Transformation Towards Prosperous Maritime Communities".

Kampung Bahari Nusantara raised five clusters, namely defense, economy, education, health and tourism.

The defense cluster allows people to be empowered as supporting components in national defense.

Economic clusters improve the community's economy through the development of micro, small and medium enterprise activities.

Education clusters increase village community knowledge through the formation of smart houses. Health clusters improve the health of the village community through counseling and socialization of healthy living culture and improving puskesmas services.

The tourism cluster aims to create villages so that they can be used as tourism destinations, especially marine tourism.
