JAKARTA - Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the DKI Jakarta National Mandate Party, Eko Hendro Purnomo or Eko Patrio and his entourage visited the DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) building to register the party's legislative candidate. Eko and a mass of supporters of the National Mandate Party (PAN) estimated hundreds arrived on Friday at around 10.30 WIB. Together with Eko, there are comedians who often decorate the screen, Opik Kumis. Their arrival, as reported by Antara, was immediately greeted by the Commissioner of the DKI Jakarta KPU for Election Implementation Technical Affairs, Nurdin. Eko was immediately directed to fill in the guest book and then to the registration room behind the building lobby. Until now, the registration process for the DKI Jakarta DPRD leg is still ongoing. The DKI Jakarta KPU said that three political parties would register a candidate for legislature (bakaleg) of the DKI Jakarta DPRD on Friday. The three parties are the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), the National Awakening Party (PKB) and the National Mandate Party (PAN).

Meanwhile, PKS, Hanura, Nasdem, PDIP and PPP have registered their legislators to fight for the seats of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) in the 2024 General Election.
