KPU Receives Registration Of 580 Bakal Caleg Partai Ummat

The General Elections Commission (KPU) officially received a registration file of 580 prospective legislative candidates for the DPR in the 2024 General Election from the Ummat Party.

The file was received directly by KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari from the Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Ummat Nazaruddin Party, Thursday, May 11.

"Today, Thursday, May 11, 2023, the Ummat Party is present at the KPU Office to register prospective members of the DPR RI," said Hasyim as quoted by ANTARA.

After receiving and examining the files, the KPU will notify the completeness of the registration file for the legislative candidate for the DPR from the Ummat Party.

If the file is declared incomplete, said Hasyim, the Ummat Party can make improvements before the deadline for registration for the DPR candidate on Sunday (14/5) at 23.59 WIB.

Previously, on the same occasion, Nazaruddin said that the Ummat Party was ready to repair the registration documents for the DPR candidates they submitted if they were declared incomplete by the KPU.

"If, for example, it is still not right, complete, or there are things that need to be improved, God willing, later we will prepare improvements during the predetermined repair period," he said.

Next, Nazaruddin expressed his gratitude to the Indonesian KPU because so far the election organizers have presented good communication with the Ummat Party so that they are helped and facilitated in preparing the registration documents for the DPR candidate candidate.
