"ES has been designated as a wanted list (DPO) by the police since January 2023 because he is suspected of being involved in a criminal act of corruption in village funds for the 2019 fiscal year," he said.

He revealed that when he became a DPO, the East Lampung Police Criminal Investigation Unit Team finally managed to identify the whereabouts of the person concerned.

"After identifying the whereabouts of the DPO, our team arrested ES, in the East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan," he said.

The suspect ES is currently being taken by police officers from Central Kalimantan to Lampung, by airplane.

"After being arrested in East Kotawaringin Regency, the suspect is currently under strict police escort, on his way to be taken to the East Lampung Police Headquarters to undergo the investigation process," said Johanes.
