Cirebon Police Deploy 730 Members To Become RW Police, Every 3 RW Bina Personnel

JABAR - Cirebon Police assigned as many as 730 members to become RW Police. They will monitor 2,353 RWs in the jurisdiction of the Cirebon Police.

Cirebon Police Chief Kombes Pol Arif Budiman said the RW Police were expected to provide a sense of security to the community.

"We have assigned 730 personnel to serve in 2,353 RWs in the jurisdiction of the Cirebon Police," he said in Cirebon, West Java, Wednesday, May 10, which was confiscated by Antara.

Arif said that the presence of the RW Police also aims to communicate with all elements at the RW level. So that they are more intensive in detection and anticipation while reducing all problems in the community.

According to him, in the jurisdiction of the Cirebon Police, there are 2,353 RWs spread over 351 villages and 12 villages located in Cirebon Regency.

He explained that of the 730 members of the Cirebon Police, it is authorized to accompany as many as three RWs, and it is hoped that the Police will be closer to the community.

"On average, each personnel will foster three RWs, and the main task is more efforts to detect problems in the community as well as to solve problems so that they are able to reduce all potential disturbances to public order," he said.

Arif added, with the RW Police, later the problems that occur in residents do not always have to be resolved legally, but it can also be with deliberation and consensus.

The RW police, continued Arif, will be tasked with bridging and maintaining regional conduciveness and his party wants law enforcement efforts to be the last resort in solving problems in the community, especially at the RW level.

In the RW Police program, his party prioritizes preventive efforts in maintaining security and social security in Cirebon Regency. In addition, the program is to strengthen the One Village One Bhabinkamtibmas program which is currently being implemented.

"The presence of this RW Police is to intensify more because in each RW there are representatives of the police who are ready to manage security and social security by involving all components," he concluded.
