6 People Died As A Result Of A Deadly Accident In Aceh Jaya

A total of six residents were reported to have died in an accident between the Kia Pregio BL-1894-AL passenger car and the Toyota Rush minibus number B-2165-KZD, on the Banda Aceh-Meulaboh highway.

"It's true, there were six residents who died in this accident," said Head of the Aceh Jaya Police Traffic Unit Iptu Asy, reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 8.

Based on the data obtained, the victims who were declared dead from the Toyota Rush B-2165-KZD minibus, Zainal Arifin Pasaribu (65 years old) as the driver were registered as a resident of Bantar Gebang, Bekasi.

Then other minibus passengers who were declared dead were Duma Sari Gultom (80) a resident of South Tapanuli, North Sumatra Province. Painan Ritonga (82), Hayani Batu Bara (50 years) and Aslina (64) a resident of Sumur Batu, Medan City, North Sumatra.

Meanwhile, the survivors who were referred to the Toyota Rush were in Banda Aceh Hospital and were reported injured, namely Desi Batu Bara (17), a resident of Sumur Batu, Medan City, North Sumatra Province.

Another victim who was declared dead in the accident incident was M Dahlan (48), a resident of Panton Bayu Village, Nagan Raya Regency and the victim was a public transport driver for the Kia Pregio BL-1894-AL minibus.

Meanwhile, the passengers who survived and were referred to the Aceh Jaya hospital included M Jisini, a resident of Tamiang Hulu, Aceh Tamiang Regency. Fatimah AR, a resident of Lhokseumawe Aceh City, Nurul Ala (the address is unknown),

The minibus passengers referred to Meuraxa Hospital in Banda Aceh City, namely Sino (the address is unknown), Desi and Tiralimah (the address is unknown) were referred to the Banda Aceh Kesdam Hospital.

Three other passengers whose identities were not known have also been referred to a hospital in Banda Aceh City because they were reported to have suffered serious injuries.

Iptu Asy'ari said the accident incident involving the Kia Travelo minibus and the Toyota Rush allegedly occurred after the Toyota Rush driver named Zainal allegedly tried to avoid a hole in the road and tried to swerve to the right.

From the opposite direction, the mini-bus trip Kia Pregio BL-1894-AL resulted in a collision, which resulted in the driver and a number of passengers dying and being injured.

"We are still investigating this accident case, a number of victims who died and were injured have been referred to a number of hospitals in Aceh Jaya and Banda Aceh City," said Iptu Asy'ari.
