Vice President Candidate Ganjar Pranowo Is Still Being Discussed

The presidential candidate from the PDI-P Ganjar Pranowo explained the criteria for a vice presidential candidate who would accompany him in the 2024 presidential election, one of which must have one view.

"One vision," said Ganjar after attending his winning consolidation event held by the East Java PDI-P DPD in Surabaya, Saturday, May 6.

Even though he has criteria for vice presidential candidates who will accompany him to run in the 2024 presidential election, Ganjar still leaves all decisions to the PDI-P.

He believes that PDIP under the leadership of Megawati Soekarnoputri is able to find and screen the vice presidential candidates with the best capacity and capability.

"It is being discussed by the party and between parties. Let it proceed first," he said.

Meanwhile, Ganjar said that currently PDIP has compiled a number of steps to realize victory in the 2024 presidential election, one of which is by sending the best cadres to close and consolidate volunteers throughout Indonesia.

"There are already parties coordinating, there are several others there. This is a good way, so there is no mutual suspicion between them and their strength is getting more synergized," he said.

Regarding the vote target in East Java, Ganjar admitted that this would still be calculated by the provincial level management and continued to the PDIP DPP.

"Each DPD will be prepared and the DPP will be accumulated. They will calculate it," he said.
