JAKARTA - The flow of vehicles entering the Kalikangkung Toll Gate in Semarang, Central Java, heading west or Jakarta on Saturday afternoon is still relatively congested, but smooth.

Data from the Kalikangkung Semarang Toll Gate Security Post noted that the number of vehicles passing from 06.00 to 14.00 WIB was recorded at 21,363 vehicles.

Even between 10.00 and 14.00 WIB, the average number of vehicles passing through the Kalikangkung gate had reached 3,300 vehicles per hour.

Even though it is crowded, there are no queues of vehicles that will enter the toll gate. Quoted from ANTARA, the flow of vehicles from the west to Semarang via this toll gate is not too crowded.

From the data collected, the average number of vehicles passing in from the west is around one thousand vehicles per hour.

Meanwhile, the implementation of the one-way route will take effect at the Palimanan to Cikampek toll gate.

The police estimate that the increase in the flow of vehicles to Jakarta will occur in the backflow of the second wave from April 29 to May 1.
