The Bogowonto Train Is Disturbed, A Number Of Long-distance Trains Experienced Delays Today

JATENG - The Bogowonto Kereta Api (KA) Lempuyangan-Pasar Senen relation experienced disruption at KM 333+3/4 between the Banyumas and Brebes routes. As a result, a number of long-distance train trips experienced delays.

Head of PT KAI (Persero) Operational Area 5 Purwokerto Daniel Johannes Hutabarat said the Bogowono train had a loss of power or energy. This is based on the report from the crew of KA 137C locomotive CC 2040307 which attracted the Bogowonto train series.

"The loss of locomotive power is known from the indicators on the monitoring monitor screen, so the 137C train stops at KM 333+3/4. The facility crew immediately coordinate with the Railway Operations Control Center," Daniel said when confirmed in Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency, Tuesday, April 18 afternoon.

He said the 137C train driver at 13.30 WIB tried to reset the system but it didn't work, until he finally asked for a replacement locomotive at 13.30 WIB.

Furthermore, at 14:40 WIB, he said, the Purwokerto Locomotive Depot ran the CC 2039503 locomotive to the location of train disruptions.

According to him, the Bogowonti train series was successfully evacuated from the location of the disturbance and brought into Karangsari Station at 14:47 WIB.

"While at Karangsari Station, a direct process was carried out to release the locomotive of CC 20400307 and replaced with the locomotive of CC 2039503 as the locomotive of service for KA 137C," he said, confiscated by Antara.

After the trial was carried out and it was discovered that the brake conditions were functioning properly, he said, the Bogowonto train was dispatched back to Pasarsenen at 15.48 WIB or a delay of 152 minutes.

Daniel said the incident experienced by KA 137C Bogowonto had an impact on the journey of a number of trains, including KA 57C Argo Lawu Additional Solo-Gambir relations which were 10 minutes late and KA 7025B Taksaka Additional Yogyakarta-Gambir relations which were 6 minutes late.

"We apologize for this incident. We have also ordered to distribute service recovery to 300 passengers on the train, as well as five prospective passengers who were waiting for their train arrival at Bumiayu Station," he said.

He said the situation of train trips after the incident was safe, smooth, and under control.
