JAKARTA - Integrated Pulo Gebang Terminal Jakarta conducts ramp check public vehicle safety inspections on bus fleets on D-5 Eid al-Fitr 1444 H or Eid Al-Fitr 2023.

"To anticipate automatically, we have collaborated with autobus providers to prepare the fleet as well as possible with roadworthy prerequisites that must be met," said Head of the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Management Unit Emanuel Kristanto in Cakung, East Jakarta, Tuesday, April 18, quoted by Antara.

He added that the prerequisites that must be met include buses having to pass the ramp check which states that the vehicle is fit for road

"We also have a ramp check post, so if there are vehicles that have not been checked and tested at the ramp check, we will ramp check them at the post," he said.

If the vehicle does not pass the ramp check, it will not recommend buses for roads.

Emanuel said that the condition of Pulo Gebang Terminal since Monday 16 April has seen a significant increase in passengers compared to the days before the flow of Eid homecoming.

He explained that the number of passengers on the days before the Eid Al-Fitr 2023 homecoming period ranged from 800 passengers, but now it has reached 3,200 passengers per day departing from Pulo Gebang Terminal.

"So if we see an increase of almost 300 percent. We from Pulo Gebang's integrated terminal management unit (up) are ready to serve the community, whenever people come we will serve it by providing a sufficient bus fleet," he said.

Previously, Emanuel stated that the peak of the homecoming flow at the terminal was predicted to take place on April 18 and 19, following the start of Eid 2023 joint leave.

He said travelers do not need to worry about the peak flow of the homecoming flow. Emanuel ensured that his party was ready to anticipate the surge in the number of travelers.

Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal will strengthen members to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers
