The BOGOR - Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) of the National Police Headquarters examined the cause of the fire in the medical check-up room at Salak Hospital (RS), Bogor City, West Java, which scorched the room beside him. During the examination of the cause of the Salak Hospital fire, Puslabfor carried out together with Denpom III/1 officers whose buildings were close together. The Denpom III/1 building is side by side with the Salak Hospital. Luckily, the fire that soared in the "medical check up" room at the Salak Hospital was successfully extinguished by joint officers from the Bogor City Fire Department, TNI, and Polri. The fire that occurred at Salak Hospital on Friday (7/4), at 13.20 WIB, covered the "medical check up" room, pharmacy installation, and spread to the cooperative room. The fire that soared high was successfully extinguished within one and a half hours, at 15.00 WIB to be exact and then the process of cooling the burning material until late in the evening. "For witnesses, while we have questioned three people. (The time of examination) we will wait for the Puslabfor Police Headquarters," said Kombes Bismo. It appears that Puslabfor Police Headquarters officers went to the location of the fire and immediately checked the condition of the buildings and materials left in it. The "medical check-up" room became the main space to be examined because it was suspected to be the source of the fire. According to witnesses, said Kombes Bismo, the fire first appeared from the "medical check up" room. The witnesses who were questioned came from around the location of the fire and the people who were watching at the location at that time. "This is a combination of an examination from Denpom. (Witness) from the community who saw it around the crime scene," he said. Kombes Bismo revealed that the police could not conclude the cause of the fire before the results of the forensic examination came out. Likewise with the need or not further investigation.

"(The indication of the cause) is not yet (definite), the crime scene is still being checked, the origin of the hotspots, the cables were checked. We will investigate further later.," he said.
