KPK Recruits The Position Of Deputy For Enforcement And Execution To Dirlidik After Being Left Behind By Karyoto And Endar

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will immediately follow up on the vacancy of the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution to the Director of Investigation. Open recruitment will be carried out.

"KPK will immediately conduct an open recruitment at the Middle High Leadership Position and the Primary High Leadership Position," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, April 12.

In addition, said Ali, there are two other positions that must be filled, namely the Director of Prosecution and Director of Coordination and Supervision of Region I at the Deputy for Coordination and Supervision.

"Filling positions as strengthening human resources for this organization is to ensure that efforts to eradicate corruption by the KPK can run progressively," he said.

In the future, the KPK will ask the police until the prosecutor's office sends their best members. This effort is to strengthen efforts to eradicate corruption.

"KPK will later ask the police, the Prosecutor's Office, and the ministry/institution to send its best personnel to participate in the selection in order to support the strengthening of the KPK in handling corruption cases," said Ali.

For information, the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK was previously filled by Inspector General Karyoto. However, he got promoted as Kapolda Metro Jaya.

Meanwhile, the position of Director of Investigation is filled by Brigadier General Endar Priantoro. Just like Karyoto, he was also proposed to get a promotion at his original agency, namely the National Police.

However, this proposal was polemic because Endar was asked to return to the position even though he had been honorably dismissed on March 31. Currently, the process of dismissal is reported to the KPK Supervisory Board for allegedly violating existing regulations.
