Acting Governor Heru Checks Infrastructure Readiness For Homecoming Flow At Kampung Rambutan Terminal

JAKARTA - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta is making various preparations to ensure smooth operation and safety as well as minimize the obstacles faced by citizens of the Capital City during the 2023 Eid or Idul Fitri 1444 Hijriah homecoming trip.

"God willing, we are ready to take the people back to their hometowns," Acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, quoted Antara, Sunday, April 9.

Heru reviewed the condition of the facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) at the terminal in the framework of the readiness of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) to expedite the homecoming flow.

Apart from that, Heru also saw the condition of the buses that will transport travelers who must first take periodic tests of motorized vehicles through the KIR Mobile Test Unit at Kampung Rambutan Terminal.

"Later there will be several points to be reviewed again, such as Pulo Gadung Terminal and Kalideres Terminal," he said.

At the same time, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy appreciated the readiness of the Kampung Rambutan Terminal for the facilities and infrastructure for the Idul Fitri 1444 Hijriah homecoming transportation.

"We appreciate the readiness here (Kampung Rambutan Terminal). We will check in general, it is very ready. Starting from the driver (driver) to the ticket clerk (ticketing)," he said.

Muhadjir also checked all the preparations such as the readiness of the vehicle documents, driving license (SIM), KIR, and the validity period of the vehicle registration number (STNK).
