30 Banser Fulfills AG's Trial Of Persecution Case Against David Ozora

JAKARTA - The trial of mistreatment of victim David Ozora (15) entered the agenda of reading the charges against children in conflict with the law, AG (15).

Barisan Ansor Serbaguna Nahdlatul Ulama (Banser) was present at the trial located at the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel).

"The arrival of friends here is for GP Ansor Banser personnel to provide moral support," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Youth Movement (GP) Regional Leader Muhammad Ainul Yakin at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, April 5, as reported by Antara.

Ainul brought as many as 30 Banser personnel using uniforms aimed at overseeing cases of abuse against victim D so that it runs smoothly and fairly.

Regarding his arrival with Banser, Ainul asked AG's children not to be selfish by expressing fear of their presence.

"So don't think psychologically that he is disturbed. Psychological D has also been disturbed for a long time, because of him," he continued.

Thus, Ainul hopes that in this trial the panel of judges can enforce the law fairly and transparently.

"The demands of the public prosecutor (JPU) must be maximized, the maximum is how let the judge know," he concluded.

The South Jakarta District Court held a trial for the demands of children in conflict with the law, AG, in the case of mistreatment of victim David this Wednesday afternoon at 14.00 WIB behind closed doors.

"The AG trial will be held at 14.00 WIB," said South Jakarta District Court Public Relations Officer Djuyamto, Wednesday, April 5.

Djuyamto explained that his party has continued to hold hearings every day since last Wednesday, March 29 according to AG's detention period at the Social Welfare Administrative Institution (LPKS).

Furthermore, it was stated from AG's son that there were legal advisors consisting of two mitigating witnesses, namely child psychologist experts and criminal law experts.

"The verdict hearing will be held on Monday, April 10 openly to the public and the accused is not obliged to attend," he concluded.
