Free Homecoming Quota Fast Full, DKI Transportation Agency Says Many Data On Dobel Registrants

JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Syafrin Liputo revealed that one of the reasons why the quota for registering for the free homecoming program was filled quickly.

In addition to the high interest of the public who want to go home at no cost, it turns out that the Transportation Agency found a lot of data on free homecoming registrants, which was double from the DKI Provincial Government program and the central government.

"Indeed, there are some duplicate data with the Ministry of Transportation's free homecoming organizers and Jasa Raharja," Syafrin told reporters, Friday, March 31.

This is known after verification and synchronization of the files for registering for the free homecoming program between the DKI Provincial Government and the central government. As a result, more than 600 applicants for the free homecoming program have registered more than once.

Currently, continued Syafrin, his party is deleting registrant data that is still in the reserve queue from the DKI Provincial Government's free homecoming program.

"After this it was declared okay, it was clear for more than 600 registrants to Jasa Raharja and the Ministry, DKI removed reserve registrants that had not been approved by the admin," explained Syafrin.

For information, there are 19 regencies/cities for free homecoming facilitated by the DKI Provincial Government this year. This free homecoming will transport residents who will return to their hometowns to South Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, and East Java. Registration opens as of March 23.

The DKI Provincial Government's free homecoming quota this year is 19,280, which is divided into 11,120 homecoming streams with 278 buses and 8,160 backflows with 204 buses.

In addition, the DKI Provincial Government also provides motorcycle transport facilities for travelers with 690 units. In detail, 390 motorcycles were transported by 13 trucks on the homecoming current and 300 motorbikes were transported by 10 trucks on the backflow.

On March 24, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency decided to temporarily close the registration for the free homecoming program on Ramadan to Eid al-Fitr in 2023 or 1444 H. This is due to the full registrant quota.

DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency asked residents to be patient. This is because there is an opportunity to re-register Free Homecoming if residents who have registered do not meet the requirements in the verification process.
