Slayer's Show No Mercy Album Rereleased In Black Plate Format

JAKARTA - Formed in 1981, Slayer struck the world with a new pairing between metal and punk heavier, faster, and darker than others and set new standards, not only defining genres, but also attitude.

Throughout Slayer's history, the band has never wavered in carrying out their extreme and focused aural attacks, and resisted temptation, Slayer has always chosen to remain devastating and brutal, firmly refusing to follow the mainstream.

Now celebrating his 40th anniversary, Show No Mercy is the debut studio album of American thrash metal masters. The LP was originally released on December 3, 1983, by Metal Blade Records, which, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Show No Mercy, will release two unique black disks for fans.

The two pieces of the disk are: a limited edition of liquid disk containing a "blood" of 250 copies worldwide and a set of Show No Mercy (40th Anniversary Edition) which includes a master-made black dust LP for a black-gold disk from the original master tape by Patrick W. Engel on Temple Of Disharmony, slip mats, posters, show pamphlets, signing cards, and LP buckets featuring the story of "Show No Mercy", written by J. Bennett.

Slayer himself played his last concert on November 30, 2019 at the Forum in Los Angeles. One day later, Ayesha King, guitarist wife Kerry King, said that there was "there was no chance" that the thrash metal icon would reunite for another show after the completion of the farewell tour.

Meanwhile, in April 2018, Tom Araya's wife said she did not question her husband's decision to start Slayer's final tour before the band stopped.
