The Peace and Justice Project, founded by former Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn on November 10 launched an open letter #MusicForACeasefire from artists, musicians and artists attacking an end to the Gaza siege.

Other artists who recently signed the open letter included Declan McKenna, Holly Humberstone, Rag'N'Bone Man, and Dodie.

The letter called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an end to the bombing of Palestinians who have claimed the lives of more than 10,000 innocent civilians, aid workers and journalists.

The ceasefire will allow unrestricted humanitarian aid in Gaza, where the World Health Organization (WHO) says the death and suffering rate of 2.2 million civilians trapped in this conflict is "it's hard to understand."

The report concludes: "We are a coalition of diverse artists, musicians and artists calling for an end to the Gaza siege, immediate humanitarian assistance to many civilians who are frightened, starving and injured trapped among the ruins, and meaningful diplomatic intervention from our political leaders. to facilitate the release of hostages, end Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine and for lasting peace in the region."
