JAKARTA - The song Metamorphosis from the band djent metal Bless The Knights was nominated at the highest award for Indonesian music personnel, Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) Awards 2023.

Of course, this is a separate achievement for Bless The Knights. Fritz Faraday (guitar), called their re-entry in the AMI nomination as an acknowledgment of the promoted genre.

"Previously I wanted to thank the Lord Jesus and all those involved. I am very happy because this is proof that Bless the Knights is still recognized as the djent supporter," said Fritz Faraday in his statement, Monday, September 25.

"This is also proof that I can make fun and sadistic songs, where this is what people have doubted so far. I am very happy, satisfied and proud too, Praise God," he continued.

Meanwhile, Bless The Knights' Metamorphosis was nominated in the category of Best Solo/Group/Medel Collaboration Artists. They side by side with Burgerkill withatury, DeadSquad with Enigmatic Pandemonium, Divide with LUST, and St. Loco with Nirmala.

Although not the first time Bless The Knights has been nominated for AMI, Fritz said that his band's achievements this time were very meaningful. The reason is, the song Metamorphosis is the opening of a new era for their journey after a hiatus for a while.

The formation of Cas Coldfire (clean vocal), Gilang Rammadhan (screen vocal) and Naufal (drum) is considered the best form of Bless The Knights by Fritz.

"For me, this is the third time Bless The Knights has been nominated for the AMI Awards. I hope this time I can win, not only as a nominee for the nomination line-up," concluded Fritz.
