G-Pluck Spreads Pesona In Tong Fair 2023 Netherlands, Fans: Unbelievable!

JAKARTA - The Beatles tribute band from Jakarta, G-Pluck, successfully enlivened and warmed the atmosphere at the biggest annual arts and cultural festival in the Netherlands, namely Tong Fair 2023 at Malieveld The Hague, Thursday (7/9) evening local time.

Up on the main stage of Tong Tong Podium at 20.30, the G-Pluck music unit consisting of Garnida Clouds (bass), Gilang Pramudya (guitar/vocals), Fery Gustian (guitar/vocals), Beni Pratama (drums), and strengthened by Aufa Kantadiredja (keyboards/vocals) presents popular numbers of The Beatles who are very familiar to visitors to the cultural festival.

Starting the action through the song "Twist and Shout", G-Pluck then warmed the atmosphere of Tong Tong Fair's night armed with immortal songs that worldwide thanks to the roles of four friends John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, such as "From Me to You", "Roll Over Your", "Rock 'n Roll Music", "Don't Let Me Down", and "In My Life".

"We are very happy to be able to play and look a lot of familiar faces here. It feels like a gig in the middle of a big family. We know you all have a great voice and are very familiar with the following song. Let's all sing with us, yes," said G-Pluck bass player Awan Garnida, from the stage before starting the song "Hey Jude", quoting Antara.

So, the song by Paul McCartney-John Lennon dedicated to John's son Julian Lennon also played melodiously with a mass choir of visitors to Tong Tong Fair that night.

One of the audience named Hans, could not hide his admiration for the accuracy and accuracy of G-Pluck's game when performing songs popularized by The Beatles.

Initially, Hans did not know that one of the performers on the main stage of Tong Tong Fair that night was a tribute band The Beatles from Southeast Asia. The Beatles fan born in The Hague then decided to spend the night watching the full appearance of Awan Garnida et al.

"I don't even know the name of the band. Who? G-Pluck from Indonesia, huh? Great! Unbelievable, I can't believe what I just heard. I was about to go home, but I canceled it because this band is really good in everything," Hans explained after G-Pluck got off stage.

"The drummer's arm was very 'Ringo', then 'John Lennon' guitar playing was also amazing, even his face was similar. The bass player also played with his left hand like Paul McCartney perfectly. Likewise Harrison's 'Georgie', I love it!" said Hans.

G-Pluck, who performed for an entire hour, ended their performances through the songs "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" and "I Want to Hold Your Hand" at the Tong Fair which turned 63 years old since it was first initiated in 1959 in The Hague.

The celebration of the Eastern and Western cultural mixing presents a variety of cultural acculturations in the form of art performances, photography and fashion exhibitions, discussions, and food and clothing bazaars. The festival, which presents hundreds of performers from the Netherlands and Southeast Asia, will take place from August 31 to September 10, 2023.
