Inspired By Glenn Fredly, Andmesh Wants To Have A Positive Impact On Many People

Andmesh Kamaleng does not deny that the late Glenn Fredly is a figure who has inspired him.

The singer who was born in Alor, East Nusa Tenggara said that Glenn inspired him to make music as it is, by not forgetting his background as an Indonesian.

"The most important thing is that we must not forget our culture, which is to make honest music," said Andmesh Kamaleng when met in Menteng, Central Jakarta some time ago.

Andmesh also talked about Glenn Fredly's role outside the music. He saw that the Kasih Putih singer was able to have a good impact on many people.

"And don't forget to be a bridge for a lot of people," said Andmesh.

"For example, like Glenn, he made Bumi Entertainment, made good music, because he wanted to make a forum for musicians who have talents," he continued.

When asked if he wanted to replace Glenn Fredly as a male soloist from Eastern Indonesia, Andmesh refused.

For Andmesh, the figure of Glenn Fredly, similar to other soloists from Eastern Indonesia, is an irreplaceable figure.

"For a replacement, no one will replace Glenn Fredly. But if it's for regeneration, yes," said Andmesh Kamaleng.
