Amazing! How Come, Cover Artwork New Album Doja Cat Similar To German Metal Band Chaver

JAKARTA - Doja Cat and the German metal band, Chaver has almost the same album cover artwork. Both albums are also scheduled to arrive on the same day. How come?

Doja Cat via social media on Tuesday, August 29 revealed the album Scarlet which will be released on September 22. This is a follow-up to the album Planet Her (2021).

He shared the album cover on deleted social media posts, featuring the pink purple arachnid with blood on it.

It was immediately revealed that Chaver's new album cover for their album, Of Gloom which was announced on July 29 and will also be released September 22 is almost exactly the same, except for the shape of the blood droplet and the position of the spider's feet.

According to reports, the cover was created by the same artist,tender Ray, but it is not clear how the artwork can overlap. Apparently, the artist is aware of the similarities between the two album covers, where Consequence reported that they previously shared Doja Cat's cover image on X (formerly Twitter).

Announced Of Gloom in July, Chaver praised Ray's "expert" cover which "has been with us since our first album", adding that the cover "functions in a charming contrast to album intense music, setting the stage atmosphere for a trip to a sick place".

So how will it go? Do one of these artists have to give in and change the cover artwork of their album? A few hours later, Doja Cat uploaded a new artwork from the album cover and included the caption: "SCARLET 9.22 (updated cover)."
