Regarding The Cinderella Song Polemic, Ipay Feels There Are Indications Of His Signatures For Being Faked

Ipay, the man who claims to be the songwriter Cinderella popularized by Radja (Ivan Two Men/VOI)

JAKARTA - Rival Bayu alias Ipay responded to Ian Kasela's statement that a letter of agreement had been signed regarding the polemic of the Cinderella song.

As previously known, Ian Kasela, who reported Ipay to Polda Metro Jaya last week, stated that he had spoken and agreed with Ipay regarding the song.

However, Ipay felt that he had never signed any documents, as Ian claimed. He suspects that there are indications of forgery of signatures in his name.

"Well, the signature contained in it is not my signature. I never had a signature like that," said Ipay in Tendean, South Jakarta, Monday, August 21.

"Whatever it is the language you are using, please. But what is clear, what I want to convey is not my signature and the line is very visible," he continued.

Ipay admitted that he had read the document shown by Ian Kasela to the public. He is very confident that the signature in the document does not belong to him.

"I've seen (the document Ian meant)," he said.

Ipay also tried to reiterate that he never gave Radja permission to perform the song Cinderella, especially since Ian Kasela's name was included in the credit as a songwriter.

According to him, Cinderella's only songwriter is herself. He questioned Ian's contribution if he claimed to be a songwriter.

She used the Cinderella Fairy song (Ipay's early title) without permission. Recorded, distributed, used and published the Cinderella Fairy song which she later wrote as the Cinderella song, and in it she wrote her name without any contract letter, approval or agreement with me as the sole creator and owner of the song, "concluded Ipay.
