JAKARTA - The Java Jazz Festival 2023 will return this week, namely 2 to 4 June 2023 at JI EXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta. In the 18th year of the event, this festival continues to present musicians and special collaborations that are only available at this event.

Dewi Gontha as Festival Director explained that 80% of the preparations have been running. Several foreign musicians have arrived in Indonesia to train and prepare collaboration and performances for the audience.

On the special show lineup, there are four musicians across genres that viewers can watch. Stephen Sanchez and The Chicago Experience feat. Danny Seraphine & Jeff Cofey will appear on June 2 while Cory Wong and MAX will appear on June 3.

From local musicians, Nikita Dompas and Elfa Zulham from the program team mentioned a number of collaborations at the Java Jazz Festival 2023.

"I think with my background from jazz music makes me hope to bring jazz to people who have never heard of jazz, especially young audiences. I study jazz at school and this genre is very close to me so I'm happy when I know Indonesians love my music," said Stacey Ryan.
